Ein Song der mich schon beim ersten Hören sehr beeindruckt hat. Als ich mir das Album vor Kurzem mal wieder angehört hab, bin ich wieder dran hängen geblieben.
Ein Kriterium was für mich einen guten Track aus macht ist, dass er erst nach längerer Zeit seine ganze Wirkung entfaltet... wie beim Wein eben ;)
Hier verschmilzt Weezy mit seinem Raps völlig mit dem von Kanye West produzierten Instrumental. Kurz vor dem Refrain kehrt sich das um und der Beat scheint Lil Wayne auf's Wort zu gehorchen und kickt genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt. Einfach Großartig :)Warren G & Nate Dogg - Regulate (Dirty)

Gestern als ich mit dem Bus zur Arbeit fuhr musste ich per Twitter leider erfahren, dass Nate Dogg am Dienstag verstorben ist. Hat mich traurig gestimmt, da ich so viele Erinnerungen mit Songs verbinde an denen er mitgewirkt hat: Regulate, The Next Episode, Lay Low, ...
Daher hier als Tribut anden einzig wahren Mr. Hook (wer sind Akon, T-Pain oder Ne-Yo?) ein Mix, den ich schon seit ein paar Jahren sehr sehr feier... R.I.P. Nate Dogg
